Screen printing is the process of forcing ink onto a surface through a prepared mesh of fine material to create a picture or pattern.
Mesh size is measured by how many threads are crossing each other per square inch. The higher the mesh count, the finer the gaps are in the screen allowing finer detail, this also reduces the amount of ink you can put through the screen.
There are two types of mesh fabric – Nylon and Polyester. The type of ink in combination with the screen mesh allows the design to be produced with rich colorization.
